      Description

As a user, I would like to be able to enter translated versions of Help Articles for users who speak languages other than English.

      Current UI

      Updated UI and Workflow

User selects "Add Help Article" or chooses to "View" an existing help article.

      • A new table of text fields and a drop down are available in the help article screen below the current fields labeled "Translation"
        • Select Language Drop Down
        • Help Article Title Text Field
        • Short Description Text Field
        • External URL Text Field
      • The drop down defaults to the user language
        • When drop down and user language match:
          • Text fields are disabled.
          • Display the help article info for the selected language in the disabled fields.
        • When drop down selection and user language do not match:
          • Text fields are enabled and populated with any user edits made previously in that language selection or blank when no edits have been made.
      • All help article field and drop down titles should localize to the user's selected language.
      • If, for example, a help article has been created or updated to include English and Spanish language translations, users who access the help article information should be presented with the translation that matches their language selection.
      • If, for example, a help article is created a Spanish language user, the article will then need to be translated into other non-Spanish languages for non-Spanish language users.
      • Use English as the base language.
      • If no translation exists, display whatever help article information is available to any users regardless of their language selection.
