M2 Workflow - Date Picker does not collapse when clicking on page whitespace

Environment - Laptop using Chrome (Version 98.0.4758.102 (Official Build) (64-bit)) / This works when using iPad 12.5.5 Chrome

Scenario - After clicking on the date picker to display the calendar, the user should be able to click on the page to the right of the date picker (white space on page) and the date picker should close the calendar (EXPECTED)

Steps to recreate: 

1. log in to M2 in testing (https://m.informtesting.cfahome.com/m2) as operator wilson.yang1/123456
2. click the date within the date picker
3. Calendar opens
4. Click any white space on the page or within the WF section

Actual - Calendar remains on the page. It seems that the only way to actually collapse or cause it to go away is to click on the date itself again. 

Expected: I should be able to click anywhere and the calendar should collapse. leaving only the previously displayed date displayed.
