RDS -> Difference between Safety Stock XML and Vault (RDS) endpoint

CFA business consumer is working to get connected to our Safety Stock endpoint in Vault (RDS) so they can stop using the XML from InFORM. They noticed a difference in the data between the current XML in prod, and the Vault JSON endpoint. For one example, a vendor is showing 13 items in the XML, but the JSON has 30 items.

 I think I found the issu, the XML file includes only items without a discontinue date  (Active items only), while the RDS export includes all items.
