The is a POS Polling Setting that dictates whether a customer is created or not.
When we switch this off in Production, the result was that Customers were not created for Tax Exempt Sales.
- For these transactions the user manually enters the customer, the tax exempt account and the tax exempt Id.
- These are store in Transaction Summary , as well as in the Customer table
- There doesn't appear to be any reason to store them in the Customer table, as the only report that uses them, pulls from Transaction Summary
