The DayTrack report for Canadian stores will have zeroed out benchmark columns in the initial stages of international expansion. The Payroll and Labor team has the ability to go into Oracle and change the constants that are used to calculate the benchmark values in the report. They would like to set the constants in the underlying formula to 0 for the early stages of Canada, however, this breaks the DayTrack report since this causes the formula to divide by 0 (See attachments for equations).
Business Requirements:
- As a BA on the Payroll & Labor team, I can set the constants (Daily Sales Minimum, BPR Above Minimum, and Minimum Staffing Hours) to 0 in Oracle, and the DayTrack report generates with the following columns empty of all values: Labor Hours Used, Benchmark Hours, Labor Cost Opportunity $, Labor Cost Opportunity %, Actual Labor Cost %, Hours Difference, Actual Productivity Rate, Benchmark Productivity Rate, and Average Wage Rate.
- When I set the constants to 0 in Oracle, the DayTrack report looks just like the DayTrack report for a Dwarf House.
There are no configuration changes required for this feature, if zero is received for all days in the requested range for the data points below, columns will be blank, as with DH Stores:
- Daily Sales Minimum
- BPR Above Minimum
- Minimum Staffing Hours
