2020R3 Order Guide - Configure Vendor Based Zones

      Description

      Update the order guide engine to manage item assignments for a specific Vendor Entity relationship, rather than for all Vendor Entity relationships at the same time.

      Maintain Vendor/Zone relationship

      It was recently identified that we need to update the Order Guide to support Vendor Specific zones, and that there is a need to dynamically maintain this relationship via the Location Import.

      Zones Types Impacted:

      • Location-DistributorName
      • Location-DistributionCenter

      These zones are maintained in the Location using the following data points

      <dist:Distributor>
      <dist:Name>MBM CORPORATION</dist:Name>
      <dist:ShortName>MBM</dist:ShortName>
      <dist:DistributionCenter>MCN</dist:DistributionCenter>
      </dist:Distributor>

      • Location-DistributorName = dist:Name
      • Location-DistributionCenter = dist:ShortName + "-" + dist:DistributionCenter
