As an operator I want the Number field, for Safety Stock, to be restricted when I am entering data so that I don't accidentally enter a large value
Notes
- When recording Safety Stock Values:
- Safety Stock Unit = Days -> Whole numbers only, max value = 99
- Safety Stock Unit = Percentage -> Whole numbers only, max value = 99
- Safety Stock Unit = Inventory Units -> Max of 4 decimal places, max value = 99
- Item Maintenance
- Create Order > Update Safety Stock
Acceptance Criteria
- Confirm when entering Safety Stock values in Item Maintenance the validations above are respected
- Confirm when entering Safety Stock values in Create Order > Update Safety Stock the validations above are respected
Note: Chick-fil-A do not like it when we allow the user to exceed a value and then automatically revert the data entered to the max value. The implementation should keep this in mind. Either, prevent the users from entering bad values, or show the cell in error if the exceed the max, and disable the Save/Update buttons until it is corrected.
