As a user when I assign a store name to a rule, I would like that store name field validated when I attempt to save in the same way the start date field is validated. This will help me to understand what I may or may not need to correct.

Details

Search has recently been added to the "Name" field of the "Administration > Assign Vendor Items > %Select Vendor Item% View Rules" page. When the user searches for and selects an option in the "Name" field if they delete the name they selected and save the rule with the name field blank, the rule saves with the last valid user input even if the field is blank. This should not be the case. The "Name" field should highlight in red and the save should fail when this field is blank.

Steps to Reproduce

1. From the "Manage Vendor Item Assignment" page, add a new record or select an existing record to edit. (The desired behavior should be the same.)
2. For zone or restaurant "RuleType", select a rule from the dropdown to enable the "Name" search.
3. Enter a valid name into the "Name" field or search and select a valid name.
4. Remove the valid name from the field and navigate to another field in the page
5. Save the rule.

You will notice that the user is allowed to save the rule even though the "Name" field is empty. The rule is saved with the last valid name entry.

Desired Functionality

If the user attempts to save a rule with an empty "Name" field the save should fail and the "Name" field should be highlighted in red. The user should only be able to save when the "Name" field (and all other required fields) are intentionally populated.

Acceptance Criteria

Confirm

1. The user can not save a rule unless the "Name" field is populated with valid information
2. If the user attempts to save with invalid "Name" information or the "Name" field is blank, the save fails and the "Name" field is highlighted red. (See "Start Date" field validation for reference)
3. The user can successfully save with valid name field information populated.
