Sales Summary Report - Date range issue

Hello 

While deploying to production, it was noticed that when running the sales summary report for day sept19 ,2020 for example witht the range from sept. 19 to sept 19 , it pulls zero$

also if the range is from sept18 to sept 19, it pulls zero $

but if the range is set to sept 19 to sept 20, it pulls $value.

 

Please note that this same behavior happens when we run the report for sept 18.

the range needs to be sept 18 to sept 20 for the report to show $value .

 

The same behavior is in staging as well.

 

Please advise if this is expected or needs to be fixed
