      Description

      Correct On Hand Functionality

Although this was logged as a defect, it was really a missed requirement, and as such is going in as a Story.

As a user who is placing an order, for which I have Corrected On Hand values, when I select Auto Receive, after clicking on Place Order, I want to be warned that the Count that I entered will be deleted and not submitted

      Correct On Hand
      Config:

      Showing in Order

Correcting On Hand - Creates a Count

The count record contains the order id, I am not sure that the order contains the count id.

Only show the warning message if a Count has been created as a part of the order, AND the user clicks on Auto Receive (in the modal).
When the order is submitted, Delete the count (Only when Auto Receive is checked in the modal)

      Notes from Jira
I believe that this was a missed use case/scenario, and we have had some internal
discussion around how to best handle this.
The idea behind the Correct On Hand functionality is to correct your Inventory at the time of creating a Suggested Order, so that the On Hand is accurate, and therefore the Suggested Quantity is as current as possible.

The use case that was executed, was to use the Auto Receive functionality, when Placing the order. This functionality is typically used for orders that are already on site, such as Local Bread, phone in orders, etc.

Based on this logic, that Auto Receive is intended for orders that are already received, we think that if the user does enter a Count, via Correct On Hand, that count should be Deleted, and NOT applied, after warning the user.

      Before selecting Auto Receive

After selecting Auto Receive, and there is an Correct On Hand Count associated to the Order

Text: The On Hand values that you entered will not be Applied as this order is being Auto Received.

      Clicking on Confirm will:

      • Submit/Receive the Order
      • Delete the Inventory Count
