Canada - Adding the ability to utilize stock take 4 and hiding Base UOM

      The Canadian locations will be utilizing the some metric UOM's from their vendors and for their inventory items.
      Currently the mobile pages that display the units of measure for an inventory item, include the base unit of measure. Since the items used in Canada are based on metric UOM, and the original inventory items are set up to a have a base unit of measure that is imperial, there maybe multiple pages that include the base unit of measure that will need to be changed.. This imperial UOM would not be desirable or would not have any context for the users in Canada.
      Additionally, the units of measure that are set for the inventory items at the store level will be set using the I4 import utilizing the Stock Take 4 field.
      The units of measure that will display will have to be displayed on all appropriate pages.
      All impacted areas that will now use the stock take 4 fields will have to be reviewed to ensure all units of measure
      All calculations pertaining ordering, on hand and suggested order, etc. will be reviewed.

      What's it called?

      There are a number of terms used to describe the fourth UOM that will be displayed for Canada stores, some of them are:

      • Stock Take 4 - database
      • Weight - Counting
      • Unit - Transfers
      • Stocktake 'Weight' - Manage Inventory Items Wizard
      • Going forward, in the MxC UI, we will change the column heading to be Metric Unit, which can then be localized
