      Description

      Story

As a admin, I would like to be able to change the total orders included in the min/max average and the total amount of standard deviation. This will help me to fine tune min/max

      Details

The intention of this story is to create a UI in MMS that allows the user to change the variables in the formula used to calculate the min and max suggested values. This UI does not need to be anything special. We just need a utility where we can update these values.

The goal is to add a tab in "Corporate > Corporate Rules Setup > Inventory"

The label of the tab is "Configure Min/Max Formula"

There should be 2 input fields.

      • Total orders used in average
      • Standard Deviations

These values should be editable in the Global zone and inherited down to the other zones. Admin users should be able to override the min/max at the zone and store level based on the existing functionality of the MMS page.

      AC

      Confirm

      1. The user has a dedicated place in MMS that allows them to update the variables of the Min/Max calculation formula.
      2. The user can update the amount of orders used in the average calculation.
      3. The user can update the the total standard deviations used in the calculation.

      Updates over "10"

The calculation is supposed to look back at the previous 10 orders to create the average. If there are zeros in any of those orders, then the calculation should look back beyond 10 until 10 non-zeros values are found. When the user changes the orders variable to something over 10, we need to make sure that:

      1. The calculation is not updated until the total number of orders with no zero ordered values equals the new user entered number over 10.
        1. If there are previously calculated existing min max values they should persist until they are replaced by new values calculated with the updated variables.
      1. Updates under "10" should be calculated the next time the job runs (or whatever the time is to updated the calculation) assuming the minimum number of orders criteria is meet.
