As an admin I want the ability to set up Exclude Rules that expire so that I can temporarily discontinue an item
Notes
- There maybe a supply chain issue whereby an item is not available from a specific vendor for two weeks, so rather than changing other rules, an exclude rule could be created with a start and end date
- Need to add back the ability to support a start and end date for an exclude rule
- Start Date is required, and becomes the discontinue date
- End Date is optional, if entered, this becomes the last date that an item is discontinued
- This would not map to anything in the current MMS UI
Acceptance Criteria
- Confirm that date can be entered for an exclude rule that represents the last day that the Vendor Entity Items should be discontinued
- This should be the day before the item is reintroduced
- Most likely leverage the End Date
- Confirm that it is not necessary to enter an end date
- Confirm that if an end date is not entered the rule sets the discontinue date as expected
- Confirm that it is possible to edit an existing exclude rule to include an end date when one was not previous provided
- Confirm that it is possible to edit an existing exclude rule to include an end date when an end date, which is in the future, was previously configured
- Confirm that the end date must be greater than the start date and cannot be earlier than the current date
- i.e. an item cannot be reintroduced today, but the rule can be configured so that the item is reintroduced tomorrow
- Patch back to R1
