Patchback story for Paid In/Out updates in 2023.R3.1

      Story

As a user, I would like Paid In/Out categories to be automatically sorted by alpha when I add an active or category or inactivate a category and I would like to be able to assign Paid In/Outs to the proper UI location.

      Details

Currently, there is a script that has to be manually run when a Paid In/Out category are added or removed by the support team. We should automatically run that script when a change to the Paid In/Out category list is updated.

We also have IDs that tell the UI to display certain Paid In/Out categories in different dropdowns. This story should cover the sort and the UI display.

Note: We don't have to take this exact approach if we find a better one. This was discussed in a call with Caner and Sree as a possible solution. As long as the list of Paid In/Out categories are always in the right alpha order in the UI, we are good.

      AC

      Sort

      1. The dropdown list of Paid In/Out categories in the UI is in the right alpha order when a new Paid In/Out is added to the list.
      2. The dropdown list of Paid In/Out categories is in the right alpha order when a Paid In/Out is inactivated.
      3. The dropdown list of Paid In/Out categories is in the right alpha order when a inactive Paid In/Out category is activated.
      4. This is true in: Cash Management - Paid In / Paid Out; Unpaid Invoices; Expenses to be Transferred; Accruals and Reversals.

      Categories and UI Dropdowns

      1. A "Categories" dropdown is available in the Admin page.
      2. The dropdown defaults to "All Categories"
      3. When another category is selected, the table sorts by that category.
      4. The user can assign and unassign categories to a paid in or paid out through the Add/Edit modal.
      5. The user can assign multiple categories to a paid in/out.
      6. When a category is assigned or unassigned to a Paid In/Out, the dropdown location reflects the change.
      7. Paid In/Outs only display in the dropdown to which they are assigned.
