Item Maintenance > Multi Order item popup doesn't go away when you go to a new page

When viewing the Item Maintenance page the Multi Order item popup is shown on page load and the user has to dismiss it to close it.

However, when navigating to another page, the popup remains in place.

It is possible to have a message that need to be dismissed, auto dismiss when navigating to a new page?
Or, should we set the message to expire after 5 seconds?
