Copy Item Settings - End To End Testing

As a Product Owner I want this feature to be tested from End To End so that I can sign off that it's been tested in the way in which it will be used in Production

Use Case - Grand Opening

A new store is opened in InFORM and during the Go Live process a user wants to copy UPT and Safety Stock Values from Store A to Store B

• Config > Administration - Display Copy Item Settings Page = True
• The two security settings should be independent of one another, but in reality, if a user has access to one, they will most likely have access to both
• Security > Administration - Copy Item Settings - Can Copy Saf = True
• Security > Administration - Copy Item Settings - Can Copy UPT = True
• The combination of the Config and Security Setting gives the user access to the page and access to the two settings:
  • Copy UPT from Source Store.
  • Copy Safety Stock from Source Store.

Create a new store in InFORM

• This is done via the location Import

Identify a source store

• Navigate to the source store
• Go to Item Maintenance of the source store
• Select All Items
• Download the CSV of All items, to capture the UPT and Safety Stock values

• Navigate to the New store
• Go to Item Maintenance of the source store
• Select All Items
• Download the CSV of All items, to capture the UPT and Safety Stock values

Navigate to Inv & Order Setup > Copy Item Settings

• Select a source, Copy from store
• Select Copy UPT form Source Stores
• Select Copy Safety Stock from Source Store
• Click on Copy

• Go to Item Maintenance of the source store
• Select All Items
• Download the CSV of All items, to capture the UPT and Safety Stock values

Validate that:

• Safety Stock & UPT at the destination store match those, of the same items, from the Source Store

After the initial copy of Safety Stock, add the store to the AWS Safety Stock Import zone, and import SS for a number of items and ensure that the SS is updated accordingly
