When Mirroring Safety Stock (CFAMX-3000), the mirror does not mirror the safety stock Set up (days, inventory units)

As part of the feature, INF11697, a mirror of UPT or safety stock is allowed from the source store to destination store. In testing I have found that if the destination store has an item set up to see safety stock as days and the source store is set up as inventory units, when the mirror occurs, the copy leaves the destination store set up as days, but seems to convert the value. For the purpose of this feature, it is expected that when the mirror occurs the information that is set at the source store should be followed to the destination store. Therefore if the property is set as days at the source store, that property should also be copied to the destination store.

Reproduction Steps
Upon viewing this, one must look at the property of the store. so for the purpose of this defect the stores are 00663 and 1171. The item we will use is Baby Field Greens Mix item 8861.
00663 is currently set to Safety stock in days and 1171 is currently set to safety stock as inventory units.
Navigate to Inv. &Order Setup on the mobile page. making sure you are in store 1171.
Navigate to Copy Item Settings
Copy from Source 00663, copy to store will auto populate.
Select Copy Safety stock from Source Store
Click Copy
Confirm
Click on Item Maintenance to view the change

Expected Results
Copy or mirror is the number and the properties set up

Actual Results
When the mirror is executed, the Item Maintenance page should show the same Safety Stock by the same selected properties of the source store. But in this case, the Safety stock is by inventory units in the destination store and not in days as is the source store

JAT Note:
I tested this with stores 01580 and 00000.
In store 00000, I set Bag, 6# CFA, to be:

• Days
• 23
• Auto Calc Off

In store 01580, the values were:

• Inventory Items
• 0.49
• Auto Calc On

I then copied the SS from 01580 into 00000
The result was:

• Days
• 980
• Auto Calc On

My expectation was that it would reflect the config of 01580

• Inventory Items
• 0.49
• Auto Calc On
