SC - Ordering - Ability to accept an ASN with blank PO number and have it auto-create the "shipped" order within InFORM

      Notes from 8/9:

      Original discussion here was again around accepting imported orders.

      Chris: would still like to explore what is available here, for a future use

      Will: we've tested it out, imported an order, and can see it in the database, just not UI. Need to dust this off to determine why.

      Ben: Other option--could they just send an ASN for hotshot order without order number? Alain had mentioned hearing about this and wanted to do it for CFA Supply purposes.

      Will: yes, we've done that for other customers. Could incorporate this.

      Chris: Yes, let's move forward with this.

      Outstanding question: how does receiving work on this? Make sure this order could still be auto-received and being able to do a correct-receive.

      Decision: move forward with approach of distributor sending in an ASN with no PO number, so that InFORM can auto-create the order and it can be received against, automatically with existing delay hours setting or manually if Restaurant chooses to do so. Also need to retain ability to do a correct receive action against this type of order as well.

      Notes: 8/14:

      -Want to get the order export still when created/received like normal orders

      -Show an order status indicating it was auto-created

      HLE / on site meeting notes
      • Does NOT mimic user clicking the create order button (no suggested details)
      • Track order as being system generated from ASN
      • Fire SO Export
        • Include a new status to indicate that the order was created from an ASN
        • Take a look at fields to determine if any can be suppressed

        • New A/N which includes the details of the items in the order

        • Suggested Details Panel (data wont be populated)
