Order Guide - Streamline Location Import Processing

As a Product Owner I want the Order Guide process that runs as a part of the Location Import to be updated so that only rules are only process for stores that actually changed zones.

Notes

• Based on the research that Michael DeBinder has done, it appears that when zone membership changes (i.e. at least one store moves in or out of a zone) the process reapplies the rules for all stores that are in that zone, not just for those stores that have changed zones
• It is taking about 2 hours per day to process all of this data, when there may only be one store changing between zone A and zone B
• Streamline the process so that:
  • Rules are only re-applied for those stores that have moved zone
  • If during the process of identifying which rules need to be applied, if an unapplied rule is found, then that rule should be applied for all stores, and not just the store that has a change
    • We need to ensure that the unapplied rule is applied for all stores, and now marked as applied, versus just applying it for one store, and marking the whole rule as applied
  • Streamline the audit data written out, currently there is insufficient detail provided (CFAMX-7300)

Acceptance Criteria

1. Confirm when one store moves from zone A to zone B, only the rules that apply to that store are, based on that zone change are processed
2. Confirm when one store moves from zones C & D to zones E & F, only the rules that apply to that store are, based on that zone change are processed
3. Confirm when an unapplied rule is found, that that rule is applied for all stores, and not just the store that has changed
4. Confirm that if there are no changes for a store/zone relationship, that no messages are processed for that store
