As a Scrum team, we would like to implement an automation framework, so that we can create automated tests to run daily, save QA testing time, perform regression testing and find/address bugs more quickly upon code changes.
As a developer, I want to gain access to the JAT Database through Netbeans/the automation framework project, so that I can create functionality to execute tested SQL scripts against the database just like we did in Janus.
1. Research the Janus solution and the functionality built around SQL queries running during test execution
2. Figure out if there is a way to either copy or port from the C# solution to Java and our new automation framework.
