Story
When I update the on-hand inventory value of an item during the order process, I would like the edit that I make to immediately update the system on-hand value for that item. This will give me more confidence in my on-hand inventory at all times.
Update to Correct On Hand Modal Details - (In Progress)
- When the user opens the modal, land the cursor in the left edge of the "Case" field in the "New Item" row to highlight that field. This should put the cursor to the left of the prepopulated data.
- Gray the existing prepopulated inventory count in the "Case", "Inner", and "Unit" fields if applicable.
- I am looking around the site to find another example of grayed data. If and when I find that example I'll add the hex color value to this ticket.
- Update the "Save" button to read "Apply Count".
- When the user starts typing, remove the grayed data. This action should be field-specific.
Prepopulated Inventory Data
With this change, on hand inventory counts will prepopulate the user input fields in the Correct On Hand modal.
Acceptance Criteria
Confirm:
- The Correct On Hand modal UI and UX are updated so that:
The cursor lands on the left edge of the "Case" field on modal open and the field is highlighted.- Any prepopulated inventory data is grayed out in all user input fields when applicable.
- Prepopulated data is correct based on the system on hand value.
- The button previously labeled "Save" now reads "Apply Count"
- When the user begins to type, prepopulated data is removed from the field that is being edited but persists in other unedited user input fields.
- When a user clicks the "Apply Count" button, the on hand user edit updates the system on-hand inventory value immediately.
- The timestamp assigned to item inventory edits updates correctly in the edited item’s metadata.
