Story 1
When I am viewing the item maintenance list I only want to see items that are relevant to me based on what I can actually order from a vendor instead of all items available to all locations. This will save me time when I am updating these items.
Notes
- Business case:
- A vendor stops supplying an item, however the store still has a stock/on-hand for the item and needs to deplete that inventory, and has 90 days to do so
- This ticket is related to
CFAMX-9513and should be enabled and disabled with the configuration defined in that ticket:- New Config - Mobile > Inventory > Number of days to discontinue item on Item Maintenance
- The functionality should work with the grace period defined in
CFAMX-9513 - If there are multiple VEI with the same item ID and only one has an "end date" then the rest of the VEI should persist.
UAC
- Confirm
- New Config - Mobile > Inventory > Number of days to discontinue item on Item Maintenance
- text: This configuration is used to determine the number of days after which an entity item is considered discontinued, based on the discontinue dates of the associated Vendor Entity Items
- The default value of this config should be 90
- Expired inventory items, items who's discontinue date has passed, are no longer listed in Item Maintenance
If there are multiple vendor entity items related to the same Entity Item, only the item/items who's discontinue date has passed are removed from the lists above.- Assume that the config is set to 90 days:
- Confirm when an Entity Item has one Vendor Entity Item associated to it, and that VEI has NO Discontinue Date, the EI is marked as In Use
- Confirm when an Entity Item has one Vendor Entity Item associated to it, and that VEI has a Discontinue Date that is older than 90 days, the EI is marked as NOT In Use
- Confirm when an Entity Item has one Vendor Entity Item associated to it, and that VEI has a Discontinue Date, but that date is less than 90 days old, the EI is marked as In Use
- Confirm when an Entity Item has multiple Vendor Entity Items associated to it, and ALL VEIs have NO Discontinue Date, the EI is marked as In Use
- Confirm when an Entity Item has multiple Vendor Entity Items associated to it, and ALL VEIs have a Discontinue Date that is older than 90 days, the EI is marked as NOT In Use
- Confirm when an Entity Item has multiple Vendor Entity Items associated to it, and at least one VEI has NO Discontinue Date, the EI is marked as In Use
- Confirm when an Entity Item has multiple Vendor Entity Items associated to it, and all VEIs have a Discontinue Date, and all but one of those discontinue dates is older than 90 days, the EI is marked as In Use, (due to one VEI having a Discontinue Date that is less than 90 days old)
