Story
As a user, I would like to be alerted when I enter an on-order value that is larger than the system configured maximum or smaller than the system configured minimum.
Note: Error validation functionality already exists when the minimum and maximum are configured, and the user enters and invalid order value. The work that needs to be done is to update the error alert message the user sees and to disable the requirement that makes the user enter a value between the minimum and maximum.
Acceptance Criteria
- When the user enters a value outside of the minimum or maximum, the entry field error validation is triggered. (Existing functionality)
- The user is presented with red text below the field. The current functionality is that the user is presented with the same error message when they are over or under. The functionality should be updated to present the user with a unique message based on over or under.
- Updated text:
- Order value over Max: “Order value over recommended maximum”
- Order value under Min: “Order value under recommended minimum”
- Updated text:
- User entered order values over the maximum or under the minimum are valid and the user is not required to enter a value that lands within the min/max range.
- User can place an order when values exist that are out of range.
