      Description

We want to prevent the ability to perform a monthly inventory count if the prior month's count has not been completed. In MMS, monthly counts were only performed after a business period was selected from a drop down. We think adding this into MxC as well as a restriction that does not allow you to complete an April count before you've done your March count will be beneficial.

The reason we'd like to implement this is this past EOM, a store that was seasonally closed from April through March forgot to enter their $0.00 monthly count and mark month end. They were then able to complete their April monthly count, but could not mark April month end because they hadn't marked March month end. They then could not move March forward because not March Monthly count existed. We think this could be resolved in the future by requiring counts to be completed sequentially.
